- BY SHUI KUEN KOZINSKI. Can you see the Hoot is an abstract owl motif blanket inspired by Seven Frieze Group composed of 49 pieces of identical bi-color Moss Stitch blocks that are sewn together and finished with 4 Moss Stitch borders.
- Experience: Intermediate to Advanced.
- Sizing: Approximately 152 cm x 152 cm (60" x 60"), including borders. Each bi-color moss stitch block measures 8x8 inches and each moss stitch border measures 3x55 inches when slightly stretched, fitting along one edge of the blanket.
- Yarn Required: 1200 m (1308 yds) of worsted weight yarn (19-20 sts to 10 cm/4") in color A (shown in Natural), plus 1800 m (1962 yds) of worsted weight yarn (19-20 sts to 10 cm/4") in color B (shown in Oatmeal). The yardage of every elann yarn is shown on its ballband. Simply divide the yardage per ball of elann worsted weight yarn into the yardage required for this pattern to determine the number of balls you'll require.
