Easy blood application.
The large touchable test strips require a small blood sample of 1-2 micro litres.

Expiry warning.
To help ensure accurate results the meter checks the expiration date of the strip via the code chip and alerts you when the test strips are already expired.
Under-dosing detection.

Re-dosing capability.
With the Accu-Chek Active test strip in-meter re-dosing is possible within 5 seconds. It's your choice. You can apply blood to the test strip in or out of the meter. Choose what works best for you.
Visual double-check.
The visual double-check option gives you a back-up on your blood glucose values. Just compare the colour in the test strip control window with the colours on the vial.
Advice: When you take a test strip from the vial make sure you close it immediately afterwards to preserve strip quality. Accu-Chek Active test strips are for use with the Accu-Chek Active blood glucose meter system.
