Puffing Trolls are very shy and therefore hard to find, exept for one of them: The one with the long tail and a golden ring in its ear. Christian Flensted had a meeting with this troll and was allowed to make a mobile so that people all around the world would benefit from its magical powers. Flensted Mobiles are a traditional handicraft in Denmark. The first modern designer mobile was made there in 1954. Today Flensted Mobiles is based on the Danish island of Funen, the birthplace of Hans Christian Anderson, where it creates its very own design fairy tales from the old village school in Brenderup.
