I bought a couple to replace the old maroon tubes that had run out. It is not AT ALL the same product. I have psoriasis and extremely sensitive skin so I can only use gentle products. Yes it is gentle enough but it doesn't DO anything for my itching skin. My skin itches terribly at night and the old creme worked so well I slept comfortably. This new product doesn't help with that at all and it doesn't even feel any more moisturized than regular lotion. I used to love to use it at bed time so I could get a good rest but this "new" stuff is worthless. I don't know why you would change the formula. It looks like oat is like the 7th ingredient now as it was 1st before. So there is the answer. My Dermatologist recommended something else for the itching. I can't mention it but it is in the isle first aid isle. It has been working well. So unfortunately I have not use for Aveeno lotions/creams anymore. It does everything that it says its supposed to do. It moisturizes my skin and makes the itchiness go away. I've purchased this cream so many times. It is the only body lotion I use. But on the other hand Walmart seals the caps which is greatly appreciated, only if they could use just a scotch tape. This tape they use is this sticky wide blue band that when it is removed it leaves the stickiness behind which is very uncomfortable when you use the cream. Also, if you don't remove it, you are left with this unsightly wide blue band covering you body lotion. By the time I left ICU for the 'regular' floor I was a mess of welts and rashes from all the different kinds of tape the nurses tried to help relieve the allergic reaction I was experiencing from the medical tape. Then upon moving into my new room on the non-ICU floor I found a tube of aveeno skin relief overnight cream left by a previous occupant. I hesitated to use what was not mine but the first night, once again waking myself up by scratching I was desparate. I grabbed the tube and slathered my torso and everywhere I could reach, literally within minutes I felt relief. This Aveeno skin relief is the key to my sanity as I recover from major surgery! Three and a half weeks later I still wake up itching as my scars heal and every time, Aveeno soothes the itchy scratchy sensations away! Thank you so much! I will never
