We use our Carolina Handy Shakers to dispense these necessary supplements on our bearded dragons’ daily salads after misting with water. This way the Rep-Cal Calcium with D3 or Herptivite Multivitamin sticks to the salad. We feel that our dragons injest a greater amount more effectively this way than the alternate method of dusting their insect feeders. The insect feeders are moving around so much that they lose much of the Calcium or Herptivite before the dragon or other reptile gets around to eating them. Plus this is a more efficient use of the Rep-Cal Calcium with D3 and the Rep-Cal Herptivite Multivitamins.
We use the Carolina Handy Shaker of Calcium with D3 six days a week (right on the label). We use the Carolina Handy Shaker of Herptivite Multivitamin one day a week (right on the label). Pick a day, for example Sunday, and that becomes “vitamin day”.
