A Rocking Horse helps children to improve their balancing
skills. Children can use it to rock back and forth under the
supervision of an adult, who should make sure that the child
is firmly seated, holding on to the two handles, and resting
his feet on the footrests before rocking

The child guard is for small children who are unable to
maintain their balance properly. It can be removed when
the child is older and has better control of his body.

The Rocking Horse should be placed on a flat level floor.
Adults should make periodic checks to insure that it is in
good condition at all times.

We design and manufacture safe and well-crafted wooden toys under the Voilà brand name. Our Voilà toys are colorful and carefully designed to stimulate children's imaginations as well as to support their physical and mental development. Children will spend countless hours playing with and enjoying our toys, while appreciating the beauty of the wood used in their production.

We design and manufacture our toys according to international standards such as European EN71, US ASTM F963 and our Thai national standard TIS685-1997.

We use wood from rubbertree (official name : Hevea brasiliensis) which is planted mostly in the southern part of Thailand. The main purpose of these trees is to yield liquid white latex which is used to make rubber. After the trees become too old to yield latex, they are cut down and replaced with new ones. The lumber from these trees is therefore plantation wood - not forest wood. It has been our philosophy from the start up of our company in 1981 to help protect the environment by making full use of our wood and ensuring that there is no waste.

We also used MDF (medium density fiber) board, which is manufactured from sugarcane pulp. After the sugar mills squeeze the water from sugarcane, the leftover pulp is used as the main raw material in these MDF boards. Again, nothing is wasted.

The colors used in manufacturing Voilà toys are water based and are tested periodically by independent lab testing specialists such as SGS, ITS or TÜV. Every batch of paint delivered is also tested and guaranteed by the suppliers.

Our paints have been screened for chemicals such as lead, cadmium, barium and etc., as well as for prohibited chemicals in wood such as PCP, and have passed the requirements of all toy safety standards.

Our products do not use glue that contain formaldehyde, which are hazardous to health. We use only safe, non-toxic glue on all products.

All materials used, from wood to MDF to paper, have been assessed for their impact on the environment. This concern reflects the fact that in 2002, we were the first Thai wooden company to earn the right to use the Green Label Logo from the Thailand Institute for products made from rubber wood.

Also, our company has been certified by Sub-committee of Green Industry Accreditation in Level 3 : Green systems, which is the organization that has systematic environmental management, following up monitoring, evaluation and revision for continual development including recognized environmental awards and environmental standard accreditations.

These are the part that shows the commitment of our organization to create environmental awareness.

Our management system covers 4 areas of : Quality / Environment / Safety (of our workers) / Social Accountability

In fact, we are very proud to announce that we were the first wooden toy company in Thailand to achieve all three standards since 2002.
- Quality Management Systems (ISO 9000)
- Environmental Management (ISO 14001)
- Occupational Health and Safety Management (OHSAS 18001)

We have now incorporated these 3 standard guidelines into our Voilà management systems and have adhered to them rigidly.
