Metearmor : Strongest Screen Guard Ever Designed

What is Metearmor?
Metearmor is a special Glass-PET Compound Material developed by Moxbii. It solves the problems of tempered glass screen protectors being breakable, and anti-shock screen protectors not scratchable. It is a screen protector that has it all.

How and where is Metearmor been made?
Unlike most products that are either manufactured or assembled in China, Metearmor is actually made in the laboratory in Taiwan. Raw materials are acquired from Japan to get the right mix. It is then sent to a quality film manufacturing factory in Taiwan. The large Glass-PET sheets are then sent back to Moxbii for cutting with its laser cutting technology. Quality control is at its best.
Idea comes from the Helmet Design
American Football is one of the most violent sports, and to prevent players from sustaining serious injuries, the design of the football helmet is extremely important. Moxbii Metearmor’s design is based on this concept—we call it the “Helmet Principle”, which is a hard layer on the outside to withstand strong impacts, and soft layer on the inside to protect the head. Metearmor’s outer layer is a hard glass-like layer to protect screens from impact, and the inside layer is soft layer which absorbs shock. The two layers combined give your screen protector the strongest protection.
Actual testing done
1. iPhone 5 falls from 2 meters and lands face down, no damage.
2. iPhone 5 screen facing up, car (1.8 tons) runs over, no damage.
3. iPad falls from 1 meter and lands face down, no damage.
4. Ball Drop Test from 190cm height、Weight of steel ball : 535g.
With Metearmor applied, tempered glass did not break.
5. Ball Drop Test from 40cm height、Weight of steel ball : 535g.
Without Metearmor applied, tempered glass breaks.
Why not Tempered Glass Screen Protector?
Tempered Glass Screen Protectors have no shock tolerance, once impacted, the screen protector shatters and needs to be replaced--both time consuming and costly.
Also, when the surface of a tempered glass screen protector is damaged, it can be dangerous if continue to use. Whereas Metearmor, even if you bend it completely, all you hear is a cracking sound because of its Glass-Pet compound. But it is safe to touch.
Why not TPU Anti-Shock Flim?
Other anti-shock screen protectors have low scratch resistance level of less than 3H pencil hardness, easily getting deep and obvious scratch marks.

Metearmor Offers High Shock Resistance and Durability
With its special material, Metearmor provides the strongest protection possible to your mobile device screen. It has a scratch resistance of 9H pencil hardness and will not break as tempered glass screen protector does.
High Transparency
High transparency of 93%, high resolution, preserving the vividness of your original screen (other anti-shock films use TPU material, which causes slight yellowish effect).

High-Precision Laser Cutting
Laser cutting technology is exclusively applied to ensure precision and quality, solving problems such as uneven edges and indentations with which traditional die-cutting technique causes, giving you accurate positioning and an upgrade in quality.

Water and Oil Repellant
Oleophobic and oil repellent coating. Less fingerprints and easy-to-clean surface.

Questions and Answer for Metearmor
Q: Is 9H Metearmor tempered glass screen protector?
A: Metearmor is glass-PET compound material; it is not tempered glass screen protector. Because tempered glass screen protectors shatter easily when impacted, we developed a 9H anti-shock screen protector that will not break and is much more durable.
Q: How Well Does Metearmor Protect iPhone 6?
A: iPhone 6 has a curved screen surface, and Metearmor can only be applied onto a flat surface; therefore, the protection of Metearmor can only extend to the parts which are covered. This is why we have developed our own i6 and i6+ protective cases, which when used together with Metearmor, will fully protect your mobile device.
Q: Is Metearmor invincible?
A: All tests are done with actual mobile devices, without a single editing done. However, caution is still required when use, as Metearmor can only protect the areas of coverage. And like any protection product, there are still limitations to Metearmor. Some of the tests we’ve done include: an iPhone 5 falls from 2.4 meters, the screen is damaged, and a bus (15 tons) runs over a Note 3, the screen is damaged.
Q: How is Metearmor’s scratch-resistance effect compared to Tempered Glass Screen Protector?
A: Metearmor and tempered glass screen protectors both offer much better protection than standard screen protectors, but because glass material is still harder than 9H (pencil hardness), it protects scratches from knives/utility knives, keys and other sharp objects better than Metearmor. But at the same time, glass screen protectors shatter easily, making them dangerous to use for consumers. We wanted to give consumers a safer product that can have as good a protection as glass material has. Therefore, we developed glass-PET compound, which has a slightly less hardness than glass alone, but will not shatter like glass does, making it safer to use for consumers.
Q: Why we didn't show a testing using hammer?
A: Hammer is not used as one of the examples shown because we tested with hammer on screen protectors of various brands, and have proven that when a stronger wrist force is applied, NO screen protectors can prevent the mobile screens from shattering, despite of their claims. Therefore, our tests try to simulate accidents/events that are likely to happen.
