The Ark Swiss Monoball Z1R series is a high-performance quick shoe type monoball head that is more easy to use, with improvements added to the quick shoe base portion of the conventional Monoball Z1 head.
The base part of the pan head is similar to the conventional Z1 series, and the optimized magnesium alloy and its ball surface coating technology realize a load capacity of 59 kg while being lightweight and compact.
Patented aspherical ball (aspheric ball) and PMF (Progressive motion, friction control) function generate stronger friction against gravity which increases as tilting, even when tilting the camera in the bird's-eye view direction.
It prevents a sudden descent of the camera and enables smooth camera control.
In this improvement, the quick base part was made into a more compact round shape, and the level of the quick shoe base surface was equipped.
Also, on the quick shoe base part, you can insert the rail of the Arc Swiss · view camera directly as it is.
