Brand introduction
In 1977, Jake Barton Carpenter began making snowboarding in the garage in Vermont, USA and founded Barton Snowboard.
Ever since, his life has been devoted to snowboarding.
Burton plays a pivotal role in growing snowboard from play equipment in the backyard to world class sports, with groundbreaking product lines, grassroots efforts to the resort, and top-level team riders
