I used about 6 rolls of this product to cover my ugly rental laminate counter tops and it made a huge difference! It looks great in person, and if you're not inspecting it up close, it looks close enough to real marble. I did the installation myself over a weekend, spending about 4-6 hours on it each day. It is important to make sure your countertops are clean- i removed any residue with goo gone, cleaned with soapy water, then finished with 409 to make sure there was no residue. I dried the counter tops with a hairdryer after cleaning. I divided the space into sections no bigger than 26 in x 24 in and measured and pre- cut pieces. I started at a corner by peeling off the backing and sticking down just the corner. I used a squeegee/ scraper to smooth out bubbles and apply as i slowly pulled away the backing. Would have been easier with 2 people but was definitely fine with 1. If a piece gets messed up, misaligned, or wrinkled, it is easy enough to pull up the section and re start.There will be bubbles no matter how careful you are in the application process; it is a fact of life. Live with it. In the right lighting, they are hardly noticeable. More bubbles showed up 2-4 days after applying it and i'm sure with temperature/ humidity changes there will be more.I have had it on for a month now and it is holding up perfectly. I applied it around the sink and it shows no signs of water damage or peeling. Just be sure to always use a pot holder if putting down hot items and always use a cutting board.

Blown away by the awesome quality of this 'contact paper'. It really is sooo much more than contact paper. It's very heavy duty....covered all the flaws in my vanity table caused by nail polish remover, etc...Table looks like new. Wide enough so it didn't have to be seamed and relatively easy to work with. I've been looking around to see what else in my house I can spruce up......LOVE IT!!!!!

Love it! Used to to revamp a garage sale desk. Turned out great and I have gotten so many compliments on it. It wasn't an easy process to apply- hard to avoid tiny bubbles. Its also not very durable, and it is easy to cause small scrapes (not full scratches). I wouldn't recommend for cabinets, but works well on furniture!

I had been on the hunt for a long time for the right kind of marble contact paper for my kitchen counter top and I am so glad I did my research, because this worked exactly how I wanted. I love this stuff! It was not easy to put on, don't do it by yourself. We used it over an ugly pink laminate countertop in our laundry room. You should only use it over something that is in good shape, take your time putting it on. I took a little bit of tub/tile calk where seams met the wall and the back plate of the counter. Looks great, I would use it again.

I used this paper to cover an ugly countertop in a rental apartment, and it looked beautiful! It worked just as you would expect contact paper to (didn't fit perfectly over curves), so there weren't any bad surprises in that regard. However, the back is VERY sticky. It actually pulled the finish off the countertop when I removed it—oops. Thankfully the landlord was cool about it.I also put this paper over a big, smooth board to use as a photo backdrop. The finish is glossy, so the camera catches a light glare if you're not careful, but the print is beautiful and it looks real. I'd buy it again!

It's a little harder to do the bathroom vanity given different shapes and corners you have to cut out for sinks etc., overall have plenty of time when you start your project. My ideas on contact paper stem from the 1970's; thin and not very unforgiving. I ordered this paper with a lot of doubt and was astonished at how thick and adhesive this paper turned out to be. You can reposition it but then it adheres. Thick paper which is why I've read people use this to recover countertops.I recovered an old ikea desk that had a brown grain top with black legs which was transformed into an art piece! Buy this marble contact paper with confidence. You will not be disappointed.

First thing is first - you NEED to watch Youtube videos on how to apply this. Not from the manufacturer, but from actual people who are using contact paper. I never could have done this without doing that first. All of the negative reviews refer to bubbles and corners, but if you follow instructions (which they did not provide) on Youtube, those will not be an issue. You need a box cutter, a plastic putty scraper & patience.I love how it looks on my counter top. It took me about an hour to apply because I am very obsessive and wanted it PERFECT. You barely see the lines where I needed to start a new section. No one but me can see them though. This is very thick, durable, waterproof & shiny material. It looks as if I bought a whole counter top.I have tried other brands and returned them all, this is by far the very best material.

OMG I love this contact paper, at first I wasn't going to purchase because of the price but Im glad I did. I was thinking it was going to be the thin cheap contact paper with a fancy design (which is why I didn't want to pay $20+)But its think and fabulous.I put this on my bathroom sink counter so I had to piece it together instead of doing one big sheet.You cannot tell where I cut and where the paper started again. I know some reviews say you can see the seems but only if you are eye to eye with it.I have a good amount left so if I have to reapply any it wont be a issue. I have 2 young kids who get water everywhere but the sink so I will update later on how it holds up!

I covered the ruined tops of two side tables easily. I've never done anything like this before and they look gorgeous. This stuff is heavy and should hold up nicely. I'm very pleased. What I learned during this process:1. Cut and measure carefully using an X-Acto knife and you need to smooth it out slowly to avoid air bubbles. I removed backing a little at atime.2. I did the corners as I would wrap a package, just like an envelope.3. I put real heavy cardboard down as a cutting surface.4. Don't use where you will apply heat, it will melt.5. Air bubbles can be removed with a pinprick of the knife.

I cannot honestly get over how real it looks. If someone who has never been in my house before saw them, they would think it's real marble. Love this stuff. Cheap way to really spruce up furniture or hide imperfections. I used it on my corner desk and 2 nightstands. A few things I learned to make the application look better and slightly easier was that you have to have patience first off if your not gonna have help. I did it myself successfully so I'm sure you can too! The roll of contact paper is extremely stiff and stuck in a rolled up manner.. so it helps to have heavy objects to lay on it to help hold it down. I then peeled off small sections of the backing at a time and slowly stuck it down and used a microfiber cloth to smooth it out rather than try to peel off the whole back and throw it on.. I thought I could do this with the night stand since it was smaller but nope, it rolled up on itself and stuck like nobodies business. It doesn't stick to the furniture so hard that you can't pull it up if you notice bubbles or it's crooked. Oh and I have cheaper nightstands that have that fake wood looking stuff on them (pardon my ignorance) that gets bumpy when you leave water on it, so I lightly sanded those spots down so it was more even and less noticeable after the contact paper was applied. Lastly, when doing corners it can get tedious.. you've got to make cuts at the corners and trim the vinyl so it doesn't overlap both pieces too much in the corners... just so they meet and have a slight overlap so it's not too raised.. and just pull edges down and firmly press them down and use and x-acto knife to slowly trim excess away.. then take a blow dryer put on low and a few inches away on the edges just move it back and forth a few seconds then push the edge down with your fingers. It should stick much easier and get a crisper edge if done correctly. If the vinyl doesn't stick perfectly just hit it with the blow dryer again and firmly press down. Just be careful not to over heat it because it gets quite "mushy" and when you push on it it can kinda stretch. Sorry it's hard to explain, just be slow with it I promise it looks better than just slapping it down. Which you can do btw! I'm just pickier and like stuff to look as good as I can get it. Oh, and when I did the front edge of the nightstand I just tucked the vinyl an inch or so under it instead of trying to trim right up to the edge. I'll try to add pics later if I'm able to edit this from my phone. Hope I helped at least one person! Goodluck, I highly recommend this stuff if you want the marble look without the marble price.

Incredibly sturdy and thick contact paper. I've had this on my kitchen countertops for 8 months so far and it's still holding up strong and shows no real wear or tear. It took some work to initially get on because it's so thick but it hasn't peeled or burned (despite sometimes forgetting to remove a burning hot plate or pot fast) at all. If I look I can see tiny surface scratches from being rough on it - that is - if I look VERY hard. Otherwise it feels just as smooth as the day I got it on there and looks just as beautiful. I'm totally buying from these guys again whenever I move. Great product!

I needed a cheap cover up for a damaged side table that has water damage and I am too cheap to throw out. This is perfect, it is very shiny, easy to clean and keep clean. It is thick and sturdy. I was nervous to do the corners because they are rounded, but I treated it like wrapping paper and it worked like a charm. I did mess up on the one side and thought it was going to pull apart and not be sticky enough after a couple days, but its been months and it is still holding on strong!

This contact paper is the bomb! I put it on my old countertop and it gave it a completely new and modern look. Everyone thinks I have a new marble counter top and little do they know it's the same old counter lol. It is kind of difficult to work with and I would definitely recommend having an assistant. Make sure you take measurements well before cutting. The adhesive is strong and it is difficult to reposition once it has been laid down. I highly recommend you take your time to avoid any air bubbles. Patience is key when working with this product, but the finished look is well worth the hassle and time!

Wow is all I can say. I ordered this as I didn't have time or money to get a small slab or a vanity/dresser top that I was refinishing. This looks incredible. People think it is real marble. I would not use in a kitchen unless you are super careful not to put anything hot or to scratch it. But for my purposes, it fit the bill. And I had extra and covered the top of a half moon hallway table, and it looks stunning.

The wife bought this and we installed together. Tested it on the coffee bar before doing the rest of the kitchen and it came out looking really nice. I was sceptical and hate spending money on a place I don't own (renting on base right now) but I have to say it made a HUGE difference!Easy to install with one person. Just align and stick. You can't even see the seam if you line it up right (there is a seam in my picture). Make sure you clean the surface prior to install. My tip would be to run the product all the way to the wall with some extra. Use a box cutter/razor blade to cut right along your edge and it comes out perfect. Be cautious about caulking as some others are doing because you will need to cut the caulk out when you try to remove the product. As a renter and handyman, I do not wish to do this.I'm hard to impress but this sticker really did the job. Wife loves it and it wasnt too expensive. Worth every penny!

The paper is very thick the thickest contact paper I have ever had. I wish all contact paper had this grade level of thickness. My husband likes it's a lot it made his desk look ten time better white is not for him. Although the paper is great it can be difficult to lift if you make a mistake so please take your time and if you need to cut it try to make the cuts in areas you can not see the lines because they do show.

This was alot easier to put on on than I thought. I wanted to remove my bathroom sink for the install, but had enough slack in the water lines, just lifted the sink out of the way. Have a couple of creases in the film that I can not remove, but it looks f-ing terrific... the air bubbles that came up were quickly taken care of with a razor knife, just splice the bubble and press... The problem areas are not noticeable at all, unless ur looking to find fault... Overall I would give this product a 9 rating... I do plan on doing my kitchen counter with this material.... .I think it's awesome...

This Product is amazing! I was able to transform an ugly rental bathroom countertop and make it look Luxurious! Everyone who comes into my bathroom compliments the counters and they are shocked when I tell them its contact paper. It requires a slow steady hand to apply. As long as you map out your counter and apply it carefully, it will lay down perfectly plat with no bubbles. It is a very think/strong sticker material with a high gloss sheen like real polished marble. I use windex to wipe it down and it cleans great! Great cheap rental fix!

This is amazing, it's not light film, it's heavy duty film, and it looks exactly like a granite countertop for 1/16 of the price of real granite lol this is absolutely astonishing I love it, if you ever want to redo it in new granite just tear off old and replace it with the new, the adhesive it strong enough to hold it down good for awhile, just for precautions use a mat with hot plates and pans, as you should anyway, I heard you needed a squeegee but you don't actually, your hand or a rag will work just fine ... you would need a squeegee if this was a lighter film
