Our robot is modelled after the popular iRobot Roomba
Top 3 Reasons why iRobot Roomba and our robot do not have a water tank:
1) Auto charge function makes it DANGEROUS to auto recharge when the robot is in wet condition.
2) Impractical as most water tank only has less than 150ML of capacity, which can only cover a very small area before running out of water and requiring the owner to keep on refilling water. Eventually, the owner will stop using it due to it being troublesome.
3) The mopping cloth takes away a very large space, so for robots with water tank, factories are forced to exclude the UV light and main rolling spiral brush, causing the robot to lose 80% of its effectiveness in vacuuming and sweeping - our main objective of buying a robot vacuum cleaner is to pick up dusts and hairs and not to mop the floor because we will usually mop the floor immediately if we spill our drinks but we will not sweep or vacuum the floor every second we drop our hair.
