We prepare our Sage extract from the leaf of Salvia officinalis plants which are Certified Organically Grown . To assure optimal extraction of Sage''s bioactive compounds, the leaves are hand-harvested just as the plants are coming into flower, are carefully shade-dried to retain their full color & aroma, and are then thoroughly extracted.

Directions
