DP 3000 M 4 DSLR Quick Release QR Follow Focus A / B With Hard Stop
The next focus is the focus control mechanism used for film and video cameras.
It is rather ergonomic than strictly necessary.
In other words, it contributes to the basic function of the camera, but instead the operator can not make it more efficient and accurate.
This is usually managed by focus puller, but some camera operators like to draw their focus.
The mechanism operates through a set of follow-focus gears attached to the lens's focus ring teeth.
