The Plenue S uses the best sounding DAC chip, the PCM 1972A engineered by Burr-Brown. It also employs a high-precision Dual TCXO (Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillator) Clock that helps in reproducing precision 44.1kHz and 48kHz sound without any discrepancies.

Furthermore, it offers a firm sound quality even when the temperature, temperature of surrounding environment, or voltages may get changed due to the extended playback time. It includes a built-in 3Vrms high performance amp that offers a powerful driving performance.

With this, the user can use high-impedance Hi-Fi headphones without demanding for a separate headphone amp. The user can relish a more powerful sound experience even with normal receivers. This device can generate a high frequency format of DSD256, without calling for a PCM conversion.
