This talking number puzzle is perfect for parents who want to teach their kids Mandarin Chinese as well as promote number recognition, fine motor skills, and counting skills. The puzzle plays the correct Mandarin pronunciation of the number when the puzzle piece is placed back in its slot. Removing the puzzle piece reveals colorful Chinese themed illustrations that helps your child count the number of items to better understand the number. CLARIFICATIONS: The puzzle uses uses light sensing technology to trigger the sound. Covering up the sensor with a puzzle piece (right or wrong) or any other object will trigger the sound, however the pieces will only fit correctly in the right slot. Please use the puzzle in a well lit area. Powered by 2 AAA batteries not included. The small part choking hazard warning is an extra precaution focused on if the knobs broke off but that would require an excessive amount of force. We had a typo with our sticker on the back so please forgive us as we work to fix it.
