This ''Lin Dai-yu Teases Shi Xiang-yun'' Glass Cup derives from Chapter 20 of this novel which tell the story of Lin Dai-yu teases Shi Xiang-yun for her amusing accent. Lin dai-yu and Shi Xiang-yun are both among the Twelve Beauties of Jinglin.
Our designer used the figures in the painting for reference and made some necessary alterations to fit the prints on cups. The figures are pulled out from the background and directly portrayed on the cup.
They are exquisite, environmental friendly and elaborately colored, unlike industrial printing and dyeing. The images of the mugs are clear, bright, shiny, smooth, and worth appreciation. The cup is hand-made by lead-free glass, making it a cultural artwork of fashioned practice.
