Using the Device In the "Open" Position, gently squeeze the device and place it in a bag, tuck the bag into the palm center area and throughout the blade gaps (as you normally do with your hand and fingers) and go in for the scoop! It's that easy! The Bag Reversal Now that you have the goods in your grip, use your other hand to take the bag from your elbow (entry side) and pull downwards and inside-out towards your hand / device (this is the same process you're doing now). Open up the device to allow the unsanitary bag removal and hold it in the opposite hand for just one second. Closing / Folding the Blades The blades are locked in the "Open / Ready" Positions by conjoining hinges, so to unlock them, simply slide the blades towards the springs (that pushed them there in the first place) and close the blades flush against the inside walls. That's it! The blades and the device are now in the "Standing / Transport" Positions but ONLY close the device completely here if you're sliding into your pocket (or purse). Fasten, Clip and Go! If you're not transporting the Scoopette in your pocket or purse, conveniently fasten it around a 2 ply leash or onto your pocket or purse! Now you still have that gross bag, what to do? Simply tie, hang, or wedge it under the molded clip mechanism and go on your way hands free of the creative twirling habits you involuntarily developed over the years! Old habits die hard! Attaching the Dispenser Simply position the dispenser with elastics upside down and wide at the tips of your fingers, now slide them over the open blades and center the dispenser.
