Product Description

When you are ready to begin cutting, make sure your Approved for Automotive PVC cutters are fully open. Hold them so that the blade is on top and the cradle support is on the bottom. Lay your pipe on the support and line it up to where you want your cut. Begin ratcheting the cutter by squeezing the handle. Note: it may be easier to place the cutters on a table or the ground for more control. When the blade is about to touch the pipe, make sure it lines up precisely with the mark you’ve made. Then squeeze. The ratcheting mechanism allows you to apply continuous force with a minimal amount of motion and effort. Continue squeezing the handle and ratcheting the cutters until the blade is completely lowered and the pipe separates. The result should be a nice, clean cut. Whether you’re building PVC furniture, cutting a garden hose, or installing SCH 80/40 PVC pipe, your Approved for Automotive PVC pipe cutter makes the job cleaner, more accurate and just plain easier.
