Basic Cooking Instructions 1 cup Bob''s Red Mill Organic Medium Grain Brown Rice 2½ cups Water 1 tsp. Salt 1 Tbsp. Butter or Oil Combine ingredients in sauce pan with tight-fitting cover. Bring to a boil over high heat, stir once or twice, cover. Reduce heat and simmer 45-55 minutes until tender. Brown rice will have a crunchy texture because the bran remains firm. Keeps best refrigerated or frozen.
