Menthol Crystal is one of the highly popular mint products, which is mostly found in the toothpaste, balms, and in many other cosmetic products. The Earth Element Menthol Crystal is extracted from our own peppermint essential oil, it provides a strong cooling sensation to the skin while provides minty flavor and taste. Our Menthol Crystal has also been uses in making natural skincare products such as liquid soap, shampoo, moisturizer,  handmade soap, scrubs, creams, lotion, toothpaste, spritzer sprays, perfumery and etc.

Appearance :

• Colourless, prismatic shiny crystals

Odour:

• Strong peppermint odour that can clear stuffy nose with warm sensation followed by cooling effect.

Solubility:

• Soluble in water
• Soluble in organic solvent at 25 degree Celsius, 1 g dissolves in 5 ml solution.
• Soluble in almost all carrier oil.

Melting Point: 41 -44  degree Celsius

Residue on evaporation: 0.03% max.

Storage: Air tight container as it can vaporize easily

The Earth Element's Menthol Crystals gives a fresh, cooling and tingling sensation to handmade shampoo, bath gel and soap.

Simply add between 0.5 - 1 % for shampoo, bath gel, soap , lotion and cream. 2-5% for ointments and balms.
