This gaiwan is produced at the famous porcelain-producing town of Jingdezhen and bears its distinctive marking.
The design in the the ''Qinghua'' style (otherwise known as the ''Blue and White'' style).
Tea connoisseurs often brew the tea right in the gaiwan although it may also be used conventionally as a tea cup, the lid serving the dual function of keeping the tea warm and to block the tea leaves from consumption.
Includes a sample of premium Bana Pu-erh tea.
The gaiwan is 3.75'' wide x 3.75'' tall and holds up to 5.8 ounces of tea to lid level.
