How do I operate the PH and TDS meter?
Take off the cover and turn on the meter. Submerge the meter in your water solution. Use a glass beaker to ensure levels do not exceed more than 0.7". Wait for 10~30 seconds and press the "hold" button to get accurate readings. Clean the probe after using, dry it and replace in your box. You can use buffer solution in the cap of your PH and TDS meter to ensure accurate results for your next reading. Can this be used to test soil?
No, It is for use in water only. The pen electrode can be directly inserted into water or conveniently dipped into a glass beaker of a measured solution of water. You can read the results on the LCD screen within 5 seconds. The sensory probe is made from a highly sensitive titanium alloy.

How do I clean the meter?
Make sure to keep the electrodes clean for continued accurate readings. Clean by rinsing them in RO (reverse osmosis) water. If scale builds up, you can use a little vinegar to clean them and then rinse again in RO water. Avoid touching the electrodes when rinsing to prevent any damage. Always use a clean vessel that is well rinsed before collecting water for testing as even Minute amounts of detergent can give false high TDS readings.
