Directions

 

 

Drinka full glass of water with each dose. Adults and children 12 years and over:Take 4 to 8 tablets every 4 hours while symptoms persist. Do not exceed 48tablets in 24 hours or as directed by a doctor. Children under 12: do not useunless directed by a doctor. Talk to your doctor before starting an aspirinregimen. Aspirin is not right for everyone.

Reye`ssyndrome: Children and teenagers should not use this drug for chicken pox orflu symptoms before a doctor is consulted about Reye`s syndrome a rare butserious illness reported to be associated with aspirin. Allergy alert:Aspirin may cause a severe allergic reaction which may include: hives facialswelling asthma (wheezing) shock. Alcohol warning: If you consume 3 or morealcoholic drinks every day ask your doctor whether you should take aspirinor other pain relievers/fever reducers. Aspirin may cause stomach bleeding.Do not use: if you have ever had an allergic reaction to any other painreliever/fever reducer; for at least 7 days after tonsillectomy or oralsurgery unless directed by a doctor. Ask a doctor before use if you have:asthma; ulcers; bleeding problems; stomach problems that last or come backsuch as heartburn upset stomach or pain. Ask a doctor or pharmacist beforeuse if you are: taking a prescription drug for anticoagulation (bloodthinning) gout diabetes arthritis. Stop use and ask a doctor if: allergicreaction occurs. Seek medical help right away; ringing in the ears or loss ofhearing occurs; pain gets worse or lasts more than 10 days; new symptomsoccur; redness or swelling is present. If pregnant or breast-feeding ask ahealth professional before use. It is especially important not to use aspirinduring the last three months of pregnancy unless definitely directed to do soby a doctor because it may cause problems in the unborn child orcomplications during delivery. Keep out of reach of children. In case ofoverdose get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
