Its signature bright pink color was a total accident. During development, the focus was on perfecting the texture and its shape and not so much on the color. But the lab sent a prototype in the now-iconic neon pink and its color fate was sealed!!

It can be used with liquid formulas AND powders too. Unlike brushes which are like little brooms sweeping pressed powder around, it evenly blends and usurp its oil-controlling properties. Hence enabling focus on areas to be wiped. As long as excess water is wring out with a good squeeze, no moisture will ruin the makeup.

It helps refresh your look throughout the day as it is also designed to re-blend and refresh makeup. The new, high-definition cameras traces cake-y layers of makeup. Cleaning Recommendation
Clean makeup applicator sponge for it to stay clean and last longer.
With proper care, makeup applicator sponge can last up to 3 months of daily usage.
Clean with the liquid cleanser or bar cleanser

Liquid cleanser:
1) Pour a table spoon of liquid cleanser into a container with warm water.
2) Submerge the sponge and give it a few squeeze & gentle rub with forefinger & thumb. Repeat till stain is off.
3) Leave overnight.
4) Next morning take the sponge out and use a towel to squeeze out the water.
5) Air-dry in the open.
(Do not enclosed it as this may promote fungus/bacteria growth)

Bar cleanser:
1) Wet the sponge
2) Rub sponge onto bar cleanser and give it a few squeeze.
3) Wash cleanser away.
4) Use a towel to squeeze out the water.
5) Air-dry in the open.
(Do not enclosed it as this may promote fungus/bacteria growth)

Alternatively you can use facial wash/cleanser without Parabens/Sulfates/Phthalates else the sponge will start to disintegrate.
Air-dry in the open after cleaning.
(Do not enclosed it as this may promote fungus/bacteria growth)

Its packaging can serve as a pedestal for drying on your dressing table.

Else you may consider getting a holder (waterproof) to air-dry the sponge in the washroom or hold it on the dressing table.
