"Kabusecha, which means ‘covered tea’, is known by the Japanese as tea of the highest grade. Tea leaves are grown in direct sunlight until 1-2 weeks prior to harvesting. The plantation is then covered with a screen to block out direct sunlight. The shaded tea leaves produce a milder tea taste, with mellow flavor and pleasant aroma. No added preservatives or artificial colouring, and certified Healthier Choice by the Health Promotion Board."
