What is Red Yeast Rice?
A trusted remedy since 800 A.D red yeast rice or 'hong qu' in Chinese, was first documented for its medicinal properties to aid digestion and blood flow. It also contains naturally occurring substances that support healthy cholesterol levels.

Today, the traditional goodness of red yeast rice is extracted by fermenting non-glutinous whole rice grains using the natural yeast Monascus Purpureus.
