East Cape Manuka Oil is Extracted from Wild Harvested Manuka Trees by Steam Distillation without the use of Chemicals

East Cape Manuka Oil is 100% pure and is produced by Natural Solutions on the isolated East Cape of New Zealands' North Island. East Cape Manuka Oil is a powerful natural bactericide and fungicide. Research has confirmed that it is at least twice as effective as Australian Tea Tree Oil against gram positive bacteria (staphylococcus and streptococcus) including antibiotic resistant strains. It is also significantly more effective against some fungii especially those fungii responsible for athletes foot.

The main active ingredients are compounds called "triketones", that are only found in high concentrations in the Manuka trees growing in the small geographically isolated area of the East Cape of New Zealand. All supplies of Natural Solutions are batch tested by NZ's Crop and Food Research to ensure that the high level of these active ingredients are guaranteed. The oil is steam extracted from the fine outer twigs and leaves of naturally regenerating Manuka trees that because of their isolation have not been genetically modified or sprayed with pesticides, herbicides or any other chemicals.

Manuka (Leptospermum Scoparium) has long been valued for its healing ability. It was traditionally used by Maori and early settlers to treat a wide range of skin problems, (including chronic sores, ringworm and eczema), aches and pains and cold symptoms. The young shoots of Manuka were boiled and also used for rheumatism, sore and stiff backs, sprains and abrasions. Vapour baths with Manuka were also used for treating blocked sinuses, hayfever and even bronchitis and asthma.

East Cape Manuka Oil is becoming widely used in Aromatherapy, applied externally in massage oils, and can also be used in oil vapourisers. It is beneficial for its bacterial and fungicidal effects. Main Uses Of Manuka Oil:

• Fungal Infections, Athletes Foot, Nail Bed Infections and Ringworm - Apply a few drops of Manuka Oil to affected area twice daily and continue to apply for another week after visible signs of infection have gone.
• Minor Scratches and Abrasions - Cleanse area using about 10 drops of Manuka Oil in a bowl of boiled and cooled tepid water, alternatively, the drops can be added to the bath water for bathing
• Pimples - Apply Manuka Oil as a spot treatment for problem areas
• Cold Sores - As soon as you feel the cold sore tingling, apply Manuka Oil 4 - 5 times per day.
• Head Lice Treatment - Add 20 drops of Manuka Oil into a normal amount of shampoo and massage into wet hair and scalp. Leave for 10 minutes before rinsing. Repeat this daily until the infestation has cleared.
• Head Lice Prevention - Add about 20 drops into your bottle of shampoo and use as per normal
• Itchy Scalp and Dandruff - Add 10 drops of Manuka Oil ito a normal amount of shampoo and massage into wet hair and scalp. Leave on for 5 minutes before rinsing off.
