It’s amazing how this product works, when my colleague introduced it to me I thought ‘it is just one of those products’, but she told me her review about the Clear Skin Gel, I decided to take a good try on all the products. Im only on day 2 of using this cream (African Potato Cream), but it goes on so smoothly, it is very mild and feels lovely and cool against my skin. It FEELS natural on my skin, if you know what I mean. I don know how to explain it. A BIG plus point for me is that it doesn burn at all on the broken skin (I have eczema on my hands, arms and legs, which I tend to scratch if I can stop myself). I can also feel how soft and moisturised my skin is after I have used the cream. It does seem to be helping with the inflammation as well, which is fantastic! I also got the Clear Skin Gel with this product (as a special offer) and my review on the gel is the same - goes on so smoothly, feels very mild and cool on the skin, and doesn burn at all on the broken skin. I have very high hopes for these two products to help me manage my eczema until I can rid myself of it for good. I am busy fixing my body on the inside (and I changed my diet, of course), and I really think this cream will help me manage the outside issues in the meantime :-)

My skin is dry and eczema prone and I find this cream very soothing and healing. I get allergy flare-ups when the skin around my eyes, especially the lids, becomes inflamed - red, puffy and itchy. I have been using it (African Potato Cream) for about a month (3 times a day) and so far Im very pleased with its effectiveness in helping me with very stiff and often painful trapezius muscles, as well as arthritic shoulder joint pains. I find that it gets absorbed easily by the skin, though you must rub it in well. The smell is not overpowering like other anti-inflammatory ointments. I would recommend that you wait a few minutes before putting clothes on the area since a brownish residue may rub off on your clothing, but it will wash out easily. I also find it useful as a facial moisturiser at night - probably due to the aloe content.

This product (African Potato Cream) I tried as a free gift and sample and well, I liked it sooo much I bought the product! It has an amazing effect on pain...arthritic joint pain in particular. You don need much but rub it on good. The pain is almost immediately eased. It continues to work for hours and you don notice its effects until you stop using it! I have really had quite a time of psoriasis woes, with the only remission while I have been on oral cortisone medication of which I have had about 500 5mg tablets. As soon as I reach towards the tail end of the tapered dose, back the lesions start popping up again. The strange thing is I have never had psoriasis before and no one in my family has suffered from it… now it hits me when I am a granny! At one stage I was using a topical application, which is coal tar in a vanishing cream base. It worked wonders and I was very close to almost clear, when the product was taken off the market. I was devastated. It was then that I discovered the Down to Earth African Potato Cream. It has given tremendous relief to the unbearable itch. Although it does not cure I use it in conjunction with a cortisone cream which I apply when the odd new pustule rears its ugly little head. I say pustule, because mine is what is known as Guttate psoriasis. Unfortunately I have now become afflicted with painful thumbs and one hip which could either be due to the cortisone or this could have developed into arthritic psoriasis. I have to give a 2 year 9 month old child painful injections, as the child was diagnosed with MDR-TB. I'm a lady in the 70’s and have pain from time to time. I have used the Down to Earth African Potato Cream for the past 2 years on and off.
