USB bus powered (no power adapter required) with power consumption only 370mA approx. at operating mode. Connect to PC Windows based systems through SuperSpeed USB 3.0 (5 Gbps) or USB 2.0 host port. If connected through USB 2.0, the performance may not be satisfied on resolutions above 1080p due to the limitation of USB 2.0 bus bandwidth.
Support DisplayPort displays up to 3840x2160/30Hz, and other lower resolutions at 60Hz refresh rate. If connect to a 4K HDMI HDTV, it needs a 'DisplayPort to HDMI 1.4 compliant active adapter' to reach 4K resolution. (DisplayPort to HDMI 1.4 active adapter is not included.)
Windows 10, 8.1/8 (32/64-bit), 7 (32/64-bit), Vista (32/64-bit), and XP 32-bit. Work with Surface Pro. Mac OS X 10.6 and later. Some known issues with DisplayLink on OS X 10.9, and later. DisplayLink solution supports up to two 4K displays (resolution 3840x2160/30Hz) connected to one system.
