Upon receiving the lotion sunscreen, I applied it on my face (paying close attention to my nose, checks and forehead), before I went outside to mow our lawn. My first impression was that it was a very light-weight sunscreen lotion and the smell was very pleasant; not too strong, just right. After applying it, it felt like I hadn't even put anything on my face because the texture was just so light and it did not leave my face looking or feeling oily, which I was very impressed with. It made my face feel extremely soft and smooth and it definitely helped protect me from the sun, as I did not get any sun on my face while out mowing. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a nice, light-weight, oil free, soft and smooth feeling sunscreen that not only protects you from the sun, but leaves your skin feeling hydrated!Written by a customer while visiting aveeno.comWas this review helpful?Yes (0)No (0)Reportlong lasting protection for sensitive skin5/12/2015Average rating:5out of5stars, based onreviews5/12/2015by angel43217I am a redhead and also have a 11 year old mini me whom is a redhead as well and we burn super fast it doesn't even have to be hot out and we burn so this product is nice on our sensitive skin to help us not burn and also is great because the oatmeal it helps our itchy skin at the same time . I love the scent it smells great and glad that the oatmeal is still added that is what i love most about aveeno products the oatmeal is great for our sensitive skin. I tried just a small sample and loved it going to purchase a bigger bottle and use it everyday on my daughter and i and make sure she puts some on before school as well. I suggest this to anyone it smells good,it goes on easy and smooth, it doesn't burn your skin or face,and it has what most sunscreens don't ,oatmeal. I am impressed, the product goes on smooth, it doesn't leave any streaks or white chalky film after it's applied, it keeps your skin moisturized all while protecting it from the sun. I wore this product in various temperatures and it stayed true to what it says it will do, hydrates and protects at the same time. I'm pale and other products that I've used in the past have either left streaks which I mentioned earlier (causing me to leave my home looking like a ghost and coming back resembling a candy cane), or they would wear off throughout the day causing me to constantly reapply, with Aveeno I don't have to worry about any of that, I put it on and leave my house confident that I will be protected no matter the weather.
