FL grass is wet with morning dew and these are perfect for keeping feet dry when working. Also wear them when mowing along edge of pond. They have a small thin cushion on the inside top of boot at shin/ upper calf area that make them very comfortable. All other inexpensive rubber boots I've worn (except the taller green ones they sell) don't have that padding and rub skin raw unless wearing with jeans tucked inside. Only downside is they last about two years and start to crack at the heel from aged rubber and its time for a new pair.
