Pliable, breezy, and hardy, the uppers complement the pronounced V-shaped last that you''ve come to know and love from Altra, which limits pressure points and gives your toes room to splay as much as they''d like with every stride.
That being said, the Torin is sleeker than before; however, the Torin 3 does feature the same EVA midsole, complete with grid-like flex grooves for unencumbered agility and movement. Ultimately, this construction gives the shoe enhanced energy response, shock attenuation, and support underfoot that can tackle tempo training or long runs alike. The A-Bound top layer promotes a somewhat springy feel, while the even stack height throughout the forefoot and heel offers a more natural midfoot landing throughout your stride.
