A : No, we do not have the necessary spare part.

Do you provide free quotation on site?
A : No, site visit can be charged. A $20 transporation charges will be imposed.

Any warranty for the service and the doorbell?
A : Yes. For handyman service it is 3 months warranty and for product it is 1 year warranty.

How do I schedule an appointment?
A : Upon purchase, Selffix will contact you within 3 working days to schedule for installation date or you can email us at handyman@selffix.com

I need my doorbell fixed urgently, will this be possible?
A : Yes, if the slot is available installation can be arranged or else within 1 week depend on the slots available.

What are the payment methods accepted?
A : You can either pay via online or pay cash directly to our handyman. A written receipt will be issued.

What happens if i am not satisfied with the service rendered by the handyman?
A : You can email us at handyman@selffix.com and we'll verify.

How do you charge for your handyman service if the work might require more jobs?
A : Quote will be advised on site when extra job is required.

Are the timings flexible?
A : Time Slot from 10 am to 4 pm (Mon - Sat)

Can I buy my own doorbell and just buy your handyman services?
A : Yes, you can just buy our handyman service if you have your own doorbell.

Will I be charged extra if I were to change the timing at last minute?
A : No extra charged if informed us an hour before the installation or else a $20 transportation will be imposed for last minute changes.

If the doorbell doesnt fit my door due to design etc, can i refund and buy a new one from Selffix? Will the 2nd time to install chargable?
A : Yes, you can change for another suitable design. Yes, a $20 transportation will be charged.

What happens if nobody is at home? How long will he wait? Will he text me his number before coming?
A : Yes, our handyman will call before reaching and will wait for 15 mins if nobody is at home.

How long will the installation take?
A : Installation will take around 1/2 - 1 hour.

If its not installed properly, can i call in and ask to refix for free?
A : Yes, if the installation is done within 3 months warranty period.

Does your handyman do other service like installation of digital doorlock etc? Can i request on the spot?
A : No, you need to email us at handyman@selffix.com to schedule for another installation date

Can I have handyman direct contact number for easier communication?
A : No, please call 68482665.

For wired, how much do you charge if more than 5m casing?
A : For wired, $5 per metre will be charged for casing and wire.

What size of batteries and how many? will batteries be included?
A : Size Double AA - 2 pcs or 4 pcs or 9V Battery. Battery not included.

Do you need to drill holes to install?
A : Yes, need to drill for installation unless you have existing holder.

If any problem can your handyman come over to check? any charges?
A : No charged will be imposed if the installation is done within 3 months warranty period.

Do both types of doorbells have selection of tone and volume?
A : Depends on the brand of the doorbell you have purchased.

How Long will it takes to install wired door bell together with wire casing? what type of casing?
A : Installation usually within 1 - 2 hours.

Need any extra power point for wireless doorbell?
A : No, wireless doorbell operated by battery.

To replace existing doorbell any extra charges incurred? If yes, how much?
A : No extra charges to replace existing doorbell.

Any license to install wire doorbell if needed electric work?
A : No, as this is a minor installation.

If my doorbell chime is faulty, can the handyman come to check and repair the wired connection? any charges?

Is the work guaranteed?
A : Yes, warranty for 3 months after installation.

Does the installation requires a total power shutdown of my home?
A : No, only partial shut-down is required.

Can i use the same doorbell for front & backdoor? (private house) any extra charges?
A : Yes, you have to select the product with 2 push button or buy an extra push button.

If my doorbell stop working, can i use the existing doorbell press?
A : Just need to change the chime.

How do i choose if i want something that works for 2 doors?
A : Select the product with 2 push button or buy extra push button.

How can i get help if something goes wrong after the installation?

What if the product i purchased, your handyman is unable to install?
A : You can request for refund.

Will the handyman brief us about how to use the product? eg. how to change the functions of the doorbell ringtones?
