Organic Shea Butter. Contains essential fatty acids & vitamins A, D, E, & F. These provide antioxidants and assist with UV Ray Protection (although is not a sun block in and of itself.) Take desired amount and hold it in your hand to melt and soften (our pure shea butter will melt right in your hand from your body temperature.) Rub over your skin until fully melted and absorbed. May be applied multiple times throughout the day if required. Add to hair a little at a time until getting the desired effect. Best if used within 6 months of opening package. When not in use store below room temperature and we recommend low humidity refrigeration if your room temperature exceeds 75 degrees (f) - Be sure to store your shea butter away from sunlight and heat and inside the UV protective AMBER JAR. When used in combination with other products shelf life may be reduced.

NOTE:  Shea Butter is made from a tree nut - the Shea Nut from the African Karite Tree.  Since some people have allergies to various nut products it might be best to test a smaller area of your skin before applying the shea butter to your full body.

Directions:
Rub a small amount of Shea Butter into the palm of your hands until melted. Apply to your dry skin or hair in small amounts several times a day depending on your skin condition.
Melts in you hand from your body temperature or at over 89 - 90 degrees (F).

****During the hot months when temperatures are above 90 degrees in the area where you live we highly recommend that once you receive your shea butter that you place it in the refrigerator.  When temperatures are above 90 degrees there is a good chance that your butter might arrive melted or partially melted.  

Storage:

Store in a cool, dry place at or below room temperature and avoid direct sunlight (direct UV Light can rob your Shea Butter of its nutrients) - You can use the re-sealable outer gold bag (which has a UV protective liner) to store your Shea Butter when not using. If you ordered our shea butter in the jar you will not have an outer bag but the jar will keep it protected.   This will assist you in keeping it rich with nutrients!  Low humidity refrigeration can also help extend the life of the shea butter.

It is best to use your Shea Butter within 6 months after opening the bag/jar (possibly sooner if mixed with other ingredients or if it has been exposed to heat or high temperatures.)
