Upper - BareFit/AirMesh The main fabric covering the upper has been selected with a tightly woven mesh construction, it allows fresh air to permeate the interior footbed keeping the foot cool and comfortable. It also provides a flexible base that conforms and moves with the foot for an enhanced performance. Supporting the mesh key place textile overlays at the midsection and towards the forefoot provides a more secure construction, acting upon torsion to maintain the shape and form, further extending the life of the shoe. There is also the integration of Asymmetrical lacing design and Asymmetrical, perforated neoprene tongue. These features help ensure an excellent fit and a secure feel. The textile overlays are attached through the lacing eyelets to bring the material closer to the foot. The Zoot Kalani 2.0 brings a sensory experience as it allows the wear to step into comfort. Its BareFit encompasses the entire upper and is constructed to allow for sockless wear. It is lined with Dri-Lex fabric which has Smart Silver designed to reduce moisture, odor, and hot spots on the interior while a Single Layer Ultra Sockliner is also designed for barefoot running comfort. Finally, a heel counter is internally placed to lock and support the Achilles as it transitions through the gait cycle.
