This hood is compatible with Cokin P series filter holder. It simply fits onto the filter-holder by pressing on the upper and lower parts of the lens hood. Stackable design allows for the attachment of several of these hoods to one another， depending on the focal length of your lens， to allow for greater protection.

Lens hoods are primarily designed to prevent unwanted stray light from entering the lens by extending and shading the end of the lens. In addition， since the end of the lens is extended， you also get the added benefit of some extra protection from accidental impact.

Usage:

1. Screw the ring adapter onto your lens.

2. Slide the filter holder on the ring adapter until it snap in place.

3. Slide the filter into one of the filter holder slots which is depended by your filter\'s size.
