I always got compliments on my skin. One day this year I went to the drug store where I always buy the my C.A.T.S. The first thing I noticed was the cleanser did not have the beads and would not sud, no big issue i just mixed it with my Neutrogena Oil Fee Acne Wash as usual. 2nd I noticed the textrue of the Acne control was off not as firm. Finally the Lotion had this wierd smell that stopped me in my tracks. not really a terrible smell but definitely a smell. Like a not great watermelon smell. I grabbed the box and noticed the small silver tab in the corner that said new formula. I panicked buy was sure that there would be no change in my skin so I continued to use it. By day 3 my skin was covered in acne and I as not happy. I also noticed that the manufacturing place changed. Please understand that this is not the same formula and should be marketed as something totally different. I have been using this set religiously for almost 10 years. It cleared up my skin after college after many years of struggle with acne. Within a couple days of using this new formula I have broken out worse than I ever have in the last 10 years. I am sad and feel lost because I feel like I have to start over in my search for face products. I wish I could buy the old products! Is that possible? If you bring it back, or have another product that mimics the old system, let me know. After washing my face it doesn't feel clean and leaves a greasy film. I hve to use a makeup wipe aftwsrds and I still have makeup on my face. Is there any way to buy the original formula still? I don't have bad acne, but my face used to break out more often than not before I started using this. My favorite part of the kit is the benzoyl peroxide acne control lotion. Whenever my skin starts to act up I slather it on and it clears up fast! I had two problems with the product, though. As another reviewer mentioned, it bleaches the collars of your shirts. The other problem is that I used the lotion and cleanser up faster than the control lotion, and I wish I could buy it all separately so I didn't accumulate a stockpile of control lotion. I've started to use Neutrogena's Oil-Free Acne Wash and their SPF 15 lotion while using up my left over control lotion, and it is working just as well.
