Memory
Press ON/MEM button to turn on. Press the power button again to see last reading on the display. Press again to see the earlier readings.

Forehead Measurement Mode
1. Remove the Probe cap
2. Press On/MEM button. When the power is on, the beeper will ring twice
3. Hold the unit with the probe lens 1 to 3cm away from the centre of the forehead.
4. Press Start Button
"HI" : temperature over 42.2℃
"LO" : temperature below 34.0℃
When the backlight turns off after beeping twice, you can measure again.
* for Forehead measurement mode, backlight lasts for 5 sec.

Surface Measurement Mode
1. Remove the Probe cap
2. Press On/MEM button. Press the On/MEN button and START button together till the symbol appears
3. Closer the unit to the object to be measured, press Start button
The temperature will be detected until you release the Start button
*Surface measurement mode shows the surface temperature of an object.
*Backlight and Beeper will not operate on Surface measurement Mode
*After 1 minute of absence, the mode turns to Standby mode and indicates Room temperature.
If you wish to switch manually to the standby mode, Press the ON/MEM button until the "OFF" appears on the monitor

Room Temperature Mode
Cover the probe lens cap to switch the mode to standby mode. The display will show the current room temperature
