Product Description

The Aulos 503B Symphony soprano recorder is an ideal upgrade from the more standard instruments in the Aulos range. The 503B is a noticeably longer instrument than the 205A which not only gives it a more refined tone quality but also enables the more experienced player to put more expression into their playing, the tone is more malleable almost and when played well the 503B sounds beautiful. Aulos design features are abundant - the curved windway for a more consistent tone, the concave bell for projection along with the high build quality evident in the lovely ABS plastic resin used. The joints meet well so tuning is consistent too. The instrument is of the standard 3 piece design, so can be taken apart. It is also supplied with a leatherette bag, detailed fingering chart and a cleaning rod.
