How do I make sure the rubber bends and stays in that shape?
By using a heat gun (or hair dryer) you can make the rubber easier to shape as you remove the red backing and press against the car. Once the rubber cools it will remain in that shape.
Why do you recommend self tapping screws or an additional adhesive? Isn''t the 3M tape enough?
Throughout our testing we have found that the 3M tape is quite resilient, but not perfect. If the bumper is too curvy, or the car is constantly driven (and perhaps the Lip kit scratched against the ground or a concrete parking slot) the 3M tape might fail. That is why we recommend you purchase any cheap adhesive or short screws to give your stylish lip an even longer life span!
