It does have a button-operated backlight but you don't want to have to use that everytime you are in a poorly lit environment. You should only have to use that when it is really dark. And that light isn't even all that good. I realize it is an inexpensive watch but I don't think worth it. Walmart does carry two other watches exactly like this for the same price with the only difference being the color of the dial and the color of the band. I threw this watch away and ordered their one with the black dial and like it much better. Was this review helpful?Yes (8)No (3)ReportGreat watch many functions11/29/2013Average rating:4out of5stars, based onreviews11/29/2013by Jazzer1 ?Verified purchaserEasy to setup. 10 year battery is a plus. Was this review helpful?Yes (6)No (1)ReportRead all reviews
