"Alum 500 g" is dry type potassium aluminum sulfate (crystalline alum).
Please use it for prevention of discoloration of pickles, Akira, boil offs and so on.
how to use

● Prevent discoloration of pickles
For soaking in eggplant, pass the eggplant through a slightly heated alum solution (a solution of 2 - 20 g per 1 kg of eggplant in water) at the time of pickling.
● To pull out
For lotus root · taro rice · burdock etc etc such as strong vegetables and chestnut etc., you can pull out only by attaching about 2 g of alum to 2 liters of water for 2 - 3 hours after peeling off.
● Boil down can be prevented.
For items that are easy to disintegrate such as chestnuts, potatoes, beans, kelp etc. Dissolve about 2 g - 10 g of alum in 2 L of water, soak for 2-3 hours, wash and then cook.
