Impulse Sealer Repair Kit Include: 2 sets of Iron Strip Element and 2 sets of Telfon Cloth

IRON STRIP REPAIR / REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1: Remove the screws that hold the metal plates that are found on both sides of the sealer.

STEP 2: You will need a Phillips head screwdriver for removing the screw that holds the wire. Be sure to keep fingers on the screw as it can "POP" away from the sealer since the wire is under tension.

STEP 3: Pry the tensioning pin away from the hinge with a standard or flat blade screwdriver. Using a Philips head screwdriver won't work because the pin, that is under tension, will spin and make it very difficult to allow you to remove the heating element wire off of the pin.

STEP 4: Remove all parts of the broken sealing wire, and pry the pin away from the hinge so that you can place the the new element on the pin.

STEP 5: Keep holding the new element wire while keeping tension on the wire. Slowly allow the the tensioning pin to come to a rest.

STEP 6: Keep holding the new element wire while keeping tension on the wire. Slowly allow the the tensioning pin to come to a rest.
BE SURE THAT THE TEFLON STRIP IS PLACED FIRMLY AGAINST THE HEATING ELEMENT WIRE.

STEP 7: Take the screw that holds the element wire and screw it back in.

REPLACEMENT IS NEEDED WHEN:
1. It takes longer than normal to seal a bag.
2. The seal is not complete.
3. The sealer won't seal when the bar is pressed down.
4. The Teflon strip is burnt.
5. The heating sealing wire is broken in two
