The Zhiyun Crane 1-V2 is a motorised gimbal designed for mirrorless and DSLR cameras up to 3.96 Lb. Built-in slip rings enable the gimbal to offer 360° of unlimited rotation along all 3 axes, which allows immense flexibility in controlling camera angles. The Crane gimbal is equipped with three 32-bit MCU running in parallel at 4 kHz that calculate the appropriate drive for the individual servos. The system allows the gimbal to sense, compute and control the camera with 0.01-degree accuracy, within 0.25 milliseconds.
The gimbal features a 5-way stepless joystick which allows manual control of the camera angle, and a range of modes to accommodate different shooting styles: Pan Following Mode, Pan and Tilt Following Mode, Locking Mode and Inverted Mode.
Thumbscrews allow easy and tool-less camera mounting and pre-balancing for a quick setup (1 min) so you can spend more time capturing ultra-smooth footage. The Crane comes with two 26500 batteries, which features a 12 hour runtime.
The Zhiyun Crane can also be controlled wirelessly from an iOS/Android APP via a Bluetooth connection, which lets you control the axis angles, switch operation modes, calibrate and update the firmware making it possible have even greater control of the operation of the gimbal.
