These word search puzzles are specially designed for Spanish-speaking people with dementia. They are also appropriate for people who learned English as a second language because it not uncommon to have trouble with a learned language as the dementia progresses.

There are lots of word search books out there, in a range of difficulties and they are a great activity for people able to do them. The problem is that as the person's abilities decline they can become frustrated and may even lose interest in doing them. These word search puzzles are specially designed to be appropriate for Spanish-speaking people with dementia. They are challenging, but simplified in that no words run from right to left, diagonally or bottom to top. The words are familiar (all based on "Estaciones") and the letters are large and easy to read. There are three levels of difficulty allowing you to find the puzzles that the person can do on their own, changing the level as the person's abilities change. The included instructions (in English only) describe ways to help people complete the puzzles on their own if they are having difficulties. This Grab Go package includes everything you need for a quick and fun activity that doesn't require a lot of supervision. The Grab Go package includes six puzzles (two laminated puzzles at each of three levels of difficulty), along with an erasable marker all contained in a plastic sleeve. The puzzles can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and reused.
