Sportime official size and weight tetherball is used for gym, field, or playground activities. The ball has a cellular rubber outer surface for durability and ease of grip, and a 100% Japanese nylon wound, 70% butyl rubber bladder for maximum air retention. Nylon is very strong and flexible, has excellent abrasion resistance, is lightweight, and resists crushing and cracking. Rubber is highly elastic, and resists abrasion and impact forces. The ball has a nylon rope attached to a durable recessed post for fastening to a pole, and is multi-color for visual appeal. The ball is suitable for middle school grade level.
