SO, as I routinely do when running low, I picked-up a container at the grocery this weekend. As I was unpacking my groceries, I noticed "new and improved" noted on the container, so I immediately opened it, peeled away the new foil seal and YIKES....WHAT IS THAT SMELL!!!!! The new scent is debilitating. Burt, I'm all for "all natural" but I'm willing to sacrifice the 0.99% improvement in the product's "Natural" percentage to go back to the original formula. I can't imagine putting it on my skin. It would be like bathing in my grandma's perfume. The original scent was refreshing with a hint of honey and a texture that provided relief from the typical oily, runny lotion. I've spent ALOT of money on this product over the years as a devoted customer. I was shocked to see "new & improved" on the label, but bought one anyway to try it out. WHAT A SAD DAY! The new formula is NOTHING like the old! Why continue to put it in the tub? It is no longer a body butter--it now has the consistency of a lotion. The honey scent I loved so much is gone, and has been replaced with something that has somewhat of a almondy chocolate smell mixed with chemicals and old oil. I used to have to lock my dog out of my room to apply because she would try to lick the tub, now--and this is no exaggeration--my dog makes a scrunched face and turns her head as I'd she's offended by the product. If a dog can't tolerate this change, surely that should be a hint. Aren't you guys listening?? WE WANT THE OLD FORMULA BACK. The consistency, the smell, everything was perfect. I just picked up one of the new jars and was so disappointed when I opened it. It is a completely different product now! It?s no longer like a body butter; it?s now a thick lotion. And the smell?.UGH! It?s so overpowering and unpleasant. Why couldn?t BB at least keep the scent the same when reformulating? I sent an email to BB complaining about this
