For the treatment of acute kidney inflammation, diabetes, hepatitis, biliary tract infections, hypertension, pneumonia, lung tumors, bronchitis, pulmonary tuberculosis, influenza, infections of the mouth and throat, gout, abdominal typhoid, diarrhea, dysentery, gonorrhea, scabies, and wound infection. Note: sometimes after drinking bitter felt nausea, vomiting, and abdominal discomfort.
