This specimen is from a mine in Arkansas which was known for its beautiful and unique crystal formations and metaphysical crystals. When the mine closed, I purchased all remaining crystals. It measures about 1 1/2 x 2 x 3H and weighs 8.2 ounces. Elestial crystals are some of the most treasured. They are known as the "enchanted crystal." They are believed to assist a person in overcoming emotional burdens and it is said to contain absolute and essential wisdom. They are identified by etched facets or layers on the crystal. Shard Crystals are crystals that broke off the main matrix when they were forming and then healed themselves as obvious by all the facets on the broken part of the crystal. It is believed these crystals have special healing properties. Crystals or Clusters that broke off the main matrix while they were forming and then healed themselves are known as Shards (as seen by the facet(s) on the bottom or break).
