Washing
Step 1
Fill a bowl or sink with cold water and add a few drops of liquid wool-laundering detergent before stirring.
Step 2
Put your pashmina scarf in the soapy water and swirl around slowly to clean it. Don't squeeze the scarf as doing so may damage the fabric.
Step 3
Rinse the scarf two or three times under cool running water. Continue rinsing until no more soapsuds remain.
Step 4
Lay the scarf flat on a towel and then place another towel over the scarf. Press down on the top towel lightly to soak up excess water. Do not wring the scarf.
Step 5
Put the scarf on a new clean, dry towel. Stretch the scarf out to its original shape, and then let it air dry.
